In the campaign films, which is part of the concept “Mitt Liv, min historia,” Sarah Jessica Parker talks open heartedly and personal about her childhood and how hard she has fought to achieve her dreams. She also talks about the love of New York and compares her own life with the character she portrayed in her most famous role as Carrie in the TV series Sex and the City.

The films was shot in New York in November 2015 at a theatre, to connect to the place that Sarah Jessica once started her career. The campaign is launched on March 7 and the concept is developed by the advertising agency We Are Group.

To launch the collection collaboration La Vie en Rose between Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt and Ellos we invited press to a lunch followed by a presentation. The event was held at the lovely venue Sjöofficersmässen at Hotel Skeppsholmen, that matched the collection’s feminine feeling.

Head of design at Ellos-Li Gadd Dackås welcomed all the guests and talked about the collaboration and showed a special behind the scenes movie from the campaign shoot. Ida Sjöstedt presented the collection and showed garments on three models in different sizes, in order to clearly emphasize that the collection is available from size 34-52. This was an important message we wanted conveyed on the event, since Ida can´t offer those sizes in her standard collections.

The full collection was also shown on racks so the guests got the chance to touch and feel the collection up close.

To show Ellos SS16 collection we chose to invite interior and fashion press to a breakfast event. We wanted to highlight Ellos three strongest trends for the season, Soul, La Dolce Vita and Serenity. Presskontakterna organized the event at Konstnärshuset where Young Art had built up the trends as an installation containing Ellos product groups. The guests entered a dark room where they initially could not see anything. The event started when the artist Ida Redig was lightened up and started to sing and then the first trend was lightened up. We worked with lighting technology for lighting up a trend at a time, to create that surprising feeling for the press while Ida interpreted a new song for each trend. The press received a breakfast package composed by, Brag & Frodell inspired by Ellos trend themes for ss16.

The presentation enriched each guest’s senses, both in terms of vision, hearing, taste and touch. The goal was to get the press to see Ellos in a creative and inspiring way

To launch Ellos Beauty and Scandale on the Swedish market we chose to organize a combined event with purpose to let the invited press learn more about both Ellos Beauty and Scandale. We treated the guests with a luxurious evening and morning at Miss Clara Hotel. Everyone checked in and got their own rooms and a bag with personally selected products from Ellos and Scandale. We held the beauty presentation in one of the hotel lounges where the press got to learn more about the beauty launch and the new beauty lines from Ellos. It was and educational evening followed by a lovely dinner.

The press gathered for breakfast followed by a presentation about Halle Berrys underwear brand Scandale which is introduced at Ellos this fall. During the presentation we had 3 underwear experts present to tell the guests what to think about when buying underwear and helping out with the right size for each individual person.

This event was personal, educating and showed that Ellos is the online department store for women!

To launch the collaboration between Ellos and the famous chef Leila Lindholm, Presskontakterna organized a cooking event. We invited selected interior and food press to a presentation, where they got the chance to cook their own lunch. Leila Lindholm had chosen three of her recipes that the press was going to prepare. The journalists was divided into three groups so all the groups were making one dish each.

Afterwards we sat down to eat all food at a table displayed with Ellos products. During the event we showed all Ellos kitchen products along with the new collaboration collection, Sweet Home Collection. It was a fun and engaging event where the press got the chance to see and use the products and learn from Leila how to best prepare the dishes.

Presskontakterna invited bloggers, stylists and journalists to a midsummer dinner at Frogner Hovedgård in Oslo, to show the fall collections from Ellos. The dinner was inspired by Swedish midsummer; all interior, decoration and tableware were carefully selected to fit the casual and summery theme. Jonas Ek and Lisa Johansson from Ellos presented the collections and the upcoming trends.

The table was decorated with some of the strongest marble products from Ellos, together with linen cloth and napkins, vases and flowers. The guests got to see and feel the products very closely. The womenswear looks were showcased on big prints set against the walls and mannequins were styled in key looks from the collection. It was a relaxed and inspiring afternoon where everyone enjoyed great food and company, in a comfortable summery environment.

To showcase Ellos fall collection Presskontakterna chose to open a Pop-up restaurant for only one day in Stockholm. The strategy behind it was to give fashion and interior press the chance to explore the brand in a way they have never seen Ellos before. Set designer Roberto Murino created a fantastic experience by building up a dining hall in a very raw studio with Ellos AW15 products. The table was decorated with some of Ellos strongest marble products a long with linen cloth and napkins, the journalists got to see and feel the products very closely. The women’s wear looks were showcased on big prints as art against the walls, fashion film from the photo shoot and some mannequins with the key styles from the collection.

We invited the press to three sittings, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They were welcomed by Li Gadd Dackås Design Manager for Fashion and Ulrika Sjövall Design Manager for Ellos Home. The food throughout the day was composed by Brag och Frodell Mat. It was a very relaxed and inspiring day were the press got the chance to explore the best from Ellos upcoming collection in a new exciting way.

Loreen fronts Ellos spring campaign

The Swedish singer and artist Loreen is the next woman to front the Ellos campaign “My Life, My Story”. The concept and the films are part of the new modern lifestyle communication from the brand. The campaign, which is broadcast on April 27 is filmed in Marrakesh, a natural environment given that Loreen Talhaouis parents came from just Morocco.

Loreen is currently up to date with the single, Paper light, and her upcoming album which is her sequel to her hit album Heal containing the winning Eurovision Song Contest song Euphoria, which made Loreen known throughout Europe.

We are very glad to announce that we are now representing Ellos, the leading e-commerce group in the Nordic countries. Ellos has contracted three new creative agencies as part of a major change to develop and renew the Ellos brand. We are Group, Klintberg Niléhn and Presskontakterna are the super team who will ensure that the brand in 2015 establish a new and stronger position on the Scandinavian market.

During 2014 Ellos launched their new concept “My Life, My Story” in a series of commercials that shows more or less well-known women such as Anine Bing, Connie Nielsen and Caroline de Maigret in their home environment. Presskontakterna has developed a new PR strategy for Ellos and will be responsible for communicating the new venture with the help of media relations, product placement, promotional campaigns and events.
